Guru alias mentor is very essential like mother. These two in life does not change. Amma is remembered but Guru not quite often.

Teaching several students they remain the same. This is the climax statement of the film of producer and director R Chandru in ‘Charminar’. His real life role happened in the ‘Alumni’ function of his town Kolar district is played by lovely star Premkumar. In fact the alumni function Chandru attended got him the story for ‘Charminar’. Today R Chandru has made his school proud with five film directions and remaining one of the popular directors of Kannada cinema.

Twenty teachers who taught from LKG to 10th standard were invited for the audio release event. It was a touching moment for R Chandru as all his teachers - Seethalakshmi, Venkata Subba Rao, KL Rama, SK Gopinath, N Sundaram, Somasekhar, KA Shamanna, SV Raghu, Narasimha Murthy, Ashwath Narayan, MN Narasimha, BSK Murthy, Nagalakshmi Muni Venkatappa, V Krishna, T Narayana Swamy, Agajanana, M Srikanth, Shoba, Seethalakshmi were honored with shawl, memento, fruit basket and a garland.

Sri Ramakrishna Gowda of Sri Adhichunchanagiri Maha Samsthana took part in the honor. Father of R Chandrau and tow of his brother = engineer and a doctor were seen at the audio release event.

Lovely star Premkumar on this occasion gave full credit to R Chandru. Namma Banna Bayalaithu – it is as strong as ‘Charminar’. ‘Charminar’ Banna is not going to fade. This is ‘Charminar’ of all feels Premkumar.

Music director Hari took the blessings of senior music director Gurukiran on this occasion. Kumudha, Meghana Gaonkar and one of the teachers BSK Murthy spoke on this occasion.
